I set out to run 2 miles this morning...I didn't even make it to one. Didn't find out until later, but I ended up straining my calf muscle. I knew when I got up that I shouldn't have run. This is what I get for not listening.
*Update* It is now exactly a week after I injured my leg and I still cannot walk properly on it. It's better, but I still hobble. There will definitely not be any running any time in my near future! I'll just have to be happy with walking, swimming, and teaching swim lessons!

Ugh. Injuries test the pld patience more than anything. Good for you for deciding to let it heal! Are you training for some triathlons?
